Jean Paul Gaultier 2004 Autumn/Winter ready to wear

Jean-Paul Gaultier's swashbuckling styles and modern evening wear were featured at the coveted closing slot of Paris' haute couture collections. Gaultier's designs received raves a collection reminiscent of Zorro and D'Artagnan, Britain's Independent reported. The designer's imagination, free-ranging across wide-open spaces, showed just what couture should be: daring, dashing and inventive in every detail.

The French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier also showed off one of his daring wedding gowns from his collection. Traditionally, a couture show finishes with a wedding gown. However, this one was anything but traditional. Gaultier's "bride" wore a dress that was entirely backless, save for a white satin thong.
